IN THE AGE OF A.I. YOUR VOICE STILL MATTERS!

Hi, I'm April

I’m April Larson, an AI Governance & Adoption Architect and Owner & Operator of Valued Voices.

I help organizations make sense of AI in a practical, structured way, especially for teams who aren’t technical, but are expected to use these tools in their day-to-day work.

With over 12 years of experience in adult education and healthcare systems, I specialize in translating complex technology into clear, usable workflows that teams can actually implement. My focus is not on building AI systems, but on designing the human frameworks that make AI adoption work in real organizations.

Most teams don’t struggle with access to AI, they struggle with consistency, clarity, and knowing how it should be used. I help close that gap by creating governance structures, workflow systems, and training approaches that bring alignment across leadership and frontline teams.

My work sits at the intersection of technology and human systems. I help organizations move from informal, inconsistent use of AI to structured, intentional adoption that supports productivity, reduces confusion, and fits within real operational environments.

At the core of everything I do is one goal:
To make AI understandable, usable, and aligned with how people actually work.

AI translator for real people. AI literacy & responsible use.

Artificial Intelligence did not arrive quietly.

For most professionals, it landed on our desks like a surprise group project that nobody volunteered for.

I work with organizations who understand the significance of this moment and this tool but need to implement practical guardrails.

Asking yourself “How did I get here?  Why do I look 102 years old?  And where do I go from here?”

I understand how shattering divorce is, and how it impacts every area of your life!

You’re no longer part of a couple, you’re just you.  And even with the voices from your favorite podcast still ringing in your ears, telling you that you are good enough just the way you are, there is a good chance that you will find yourself standing in the pantry, sobbing, while you eat chocolate chips straight out of the bag.

I’ve been there. I know how much this hurts.

Divorce sucks, but on the other side of this suckery, there is more.  I promise.

More freedom.

More fun.

More.

I found my way through the nightmare of divorce, to a happier, more content, and more fulfilled version of myself.  So I’m sharing my journey and the lessons I’ve learned along the way, to give hope to other women going through divorce, hope that the best is yet to come.

I invite you to step into my story, and possibly find a bit of yours along the way.

I’ll be sharing everything from the how-on-earth-did-I-get-here moments, to the moments of inspiration and clarity, that I wish someone had shared with me when I was struggling.

Divorce is not the end, it’s just the beginning.

The beginning of what?  Well, that part is entirely up to you.
